Increased mobile data consumption
We understand your concerns about data consumption.
Frequent use of the following features on a mobile network may result in high
mobile data consumption:
1. Make audio/video calls on the mobile network;
2. Login to VoiceRoom for the first time (downloading gifts requires a lot of data);
3. Share and receive videos and images more often in a private chat or story.
You can disable automatic saving of media elements on your profile page - Settings - Storage and data - "Autosave after receiving/sending".
To help us better understand your concerns, you can also report your concern to us for assistance in the [Feedback Center].
Please include screenshots showing your data usage and answers to the following questions. V
your review:
1. Which feature do you think led to high data consumption?
2. Were there other applications running in the background at the same time?
3. Has the increased data consumption occurred since the last Kivo update or has it been happening all the time?
*Turn on the "Load Magazine" toggle in your review. This will help us study your problem and offer better solutions.
To help you save on your mobile data usage, we
we recommend:
1. Make audio/video calls while connected to a Wi-Fi network.
2. Enable low data mode in [Settings] - [Storage and data] - [Low data mode].
Note:
1. Unfortunately, this feature is not yet supported on iOS devices.
2. Low traffic mode does not support video calls.
